We have had a busy few weeks with family in town, getting ready for Halloween, packing and regular hustle and bustle. First things first, Mikes Mom, brothers (minus Jake and also Karin) and their wifes and kids all came for a week long visit to California. Stormy rented 2 condos in Oceanside so we all stayed up there, The kids had so much fun playing at the beach and swimming in the pool and the adults had fun visiting and playing games (even though the boys cheated... lame) Stormy treated us to a super fun day at Disneyland where Jaida loved the rides and was finally tall enough to ride all of the rides. I wanted her to try Splash Mountain (my friend Shannon's little boy is Jaida's age and this was his favorite ride so I thought she should try it) but i usually have to force her to do things I think she will be a little scared of but will love in the end. So I was telling her about this 'Bambi' ride that was really fun (for some reason I thought Splash Mountain had the Bambi characters instead or Brer Rabbit.... Ithink the bunny threw me off) All day she kept saying she wanted to go on the Bambi ride so we finaly got in line and for some reason they have the line snake back and forth in front of the big splash a bunch of times so she could see the big fall and hear all the screams. I started to get nervous and Jaida kept saying she thought this ride might be scary. Finally we get there and Jaida gets through the ride fine. After the big splash I thougth she would be so mad at me for tricking her and Iasked if she had fun and she said all annoyed " I didn't see Bambi" She is so funny, but she did enjoy the ride (dang that was a long story) Her favorite ride is still the Haunted House. So all in all Disneyland was so fun for everyone and we ALL made it home (almost minus one) The week was a blast and we miss everyone, can't wait to see them for Christmas.
Mike and I also had our 6 year anniversary, oh dang! We went ice skating and out for dinner it was really fun, I sure love that boy. (thanks to Anna and Heather for the sweet hook up)
One sad story is last Sunday we were up in our room and Mike asked me where my wedding ring was ( Ihad taken it off about a month ago since one of the prongs kept snagging on things and I didn't want the dimond to get loose) I had put it on the windowsill behind the drapes. I thought he was joking and when I realized he was serious I looked at Jaida and she was looking guilty. ( I had caught her trying to play with it a few days earlier and got mad) It turns out she put it in a gift bag... which then got mangled.... and put in the garbage.... and then taken to the dump..... Boo for really nice (and expensive) rings in California landfills.
One last happening is Jetty got his first hair cut. I was hesitant at first because I was afraid his curls wouldn't come back... but it was out of control so we did it. He hated every second of it but he looks sooooooo dang cute now.
That's it for now.

Oh how I love the freakin long posts.
So sad about your ring. I gasped when I read the story.
Congratulations on your anniversary! You two sure are cute. Love the pictures.

WARNING: FREAKIN LONG COMMENT
i loved all the pics and the updates. first hair cuts for boys are so dramatic and yet so cute! i'm jealous you got to go do fun stuff with all your family. it's our a downside to living within like 15 square miles of your entire family on both sides... nobody gets together for anything too special because i guess running into each other at target or church is enough. and morgan just lost her favorite mexico ring down the shower drain recently and oooohhhh the drama that produced. i'm so sorry about your ring! that just sucks. and i thought it was horrible when after i had just bought the first real crib set EVER that wasn't a hand me down, when teagan pooed during her nap and took her diaper off and decided to smear it all over the bedding and her favorite snuggly blanky and so i bagged it all up in a trash bag and put it out back to hose off later when i had time, before putting it in the wash, and it just happened to be trash day and jake just happened to actually take the can to the street. so on his way by he grabbed the bag thinking it was trash and threw it away and i didnt realize it until the trash man had already come. i was soooooooooooooo bummed. but nothing compares to a wedding ring. and there's nothing like reading one of my super rambling run on sentence comments because you know me... i gradiated from me school in the bottom 5 percent of me class.
ok. so i am so sad for you & your wedding ring. too bad it had to happen right around your anniversary too. that stinks! mary lost hers at the gym last year & checked the pawn shop for months. was it insured? not that it would matter because it really is irreplaceable. i am so so so sorry!on another note, i am glad jaida liked splash. too bad bambi was missing. & jeti boys hair looks so dog on cute. sorry he was sad, that is the worst. (i know.)i missed you guys on halloween this year. it just wasn't the same. mostly because of the big dog everyone thought was fake. jk when are you coming to visit me?! i'm sure you're about ready for your hair to be done. glad you've had fun being busy. miss ya. sorry this is so long.
Shut up about your ring!!! That is no fair! I haven't worn my ring for approximately five months now. Is Mike gonna buy you another one?
I can't believe you were afraid of Splash Mountain for Jaida when her favorite ride is the Haunted House! That's impressive. You look so cute in all your pictures. You are just the cutest, I tell you what.
