Hallelujah

So, yesterday was a most excellent day. I was able to see the new Twilight movie with some friends and as I was getting ready to go Jaida came up to me and said "mommy, I found your ring..." I looked at her in disbelief and saw that in fact she did have my ring... which was supposed to be in some California landfill.... so I thought. As I posted before, Jaida had been playing with my wedding ring about a month ago and said she put the ring in a gift bag... which I threw in the garbage. I guess she had actually put it in one of my slippers. HALLELUJAH! I was soooooo happy. It was a good learning experience for me, never put your ring on the windowsill even if you think it is hidden, and don't look at other nice wedding rings and kinda wish you had a new one...... For example the first picture is the ring I was lusting over..... the one belowt is mine..... I am re in love with my old ring.... Doesn't mean Mike shouldn't still buy me the first one some day.... Maybe I haven't learned the second lesson yet.

More updates in the Skidmore/Greep home.... We still haven't moved yet, my parents closing date on their home keeps getting pushed back.... But today is supposed to be the day. We will see.

Mike also put an offer on a dental practice and it was accepted. We have been approved for the loan and are now going through the steps to take it over. I am a little nervous since the economy is so bad and doesn't look to be getting any better soon but hopefully people will still get work done. I am so excited for mike to be his own boss and run the show how he wants, we have had some good learning experience along the way (for instance don't work for Pacific dental ) and are ready to start. Yay.
