I am sad to say the holidays officially feel over. We had so much fun with family and friends. A few days before Christmas we drove up to Salt Lake to visit Mike's family. We were sad the trip seemed so rushed but glad we were able to see family. (we are planning another trip so we can visit friends) The kids and Ziggy had so much fun in the snow and playing with cousins no one wanted to leave..... the only thing we were glad to leave was the FREEZING cold. Not sure I can ever live in a cold place again.
We made it back to California for Christmas eve where we had fun playing games with family and eating tons of food. This year was so exciting for me to see the kids reactions to all the presents, but I also tried to teach Jaida the real meaning of Christmas. She kept asking me what she was going to get for Christmas so I explained that we should try and focus on giving rather than getting so she said " o.k what are you GIVING me for Christmas." Maybe next year it will sink in a little better. On Christmas the kids were so excited to find Santa had brought Jaida the mermaid she wanted and Jet got a power wheel (that Santa found on Craigslist) They played all morning with their new toys and Jet would slam the car door closed and say "no" if he thought you were going to make him get out of his car. Overall it was a perfect Christmas, but next year I hope we can make it to Montana.
After Christmas the Gambee's came down for a visit. We had so much fun with them and can't wait for them to move here.... Jaida and Jet loved little Siena.... or Lusiena which ever you want to call her, she answers to both. We miss having all our good friends close.
And finally, Mike now officially owns his own practice, his first day was Monday and everything seems to be going well so far. I am really excited to redecorate everything...... or have Carm redecorate everything. I will post before and after pictures later.

what fun stuff. i'm glad megan and luke were able to come hang with you. and i love the pick of you, mike and jet in the snow and of ziggy frozen. that's how i picture a frozen dead dog looking. luckily he wasn't... right??? anyhoo good luck on the new practice and all that is going on in your lifey. thanks for listening to me vent today. now i need to hear more about your stizuff. okay crazy fam you are way too cool for school
