A week ago we had family pictures taken which has not been done since our wedding (not counting this summer when my sister Val took some which turned out excellent but we needed some fancy pants ones for Mike's office) So we hired a photographer in Temecula who I love, her name is Wendy Whitaker with Blue Lily photography (bluelilyphotography.com) I was so excited and stressed trying to find coordinating outfits with the right colours, finally after a week of shopping I was happy with every ones outfits. The day of I was stressing out getting everyone looking just right and timing Jet's nap so he would be refreshed and happy for the photos. We got to the location (10 minutes late) and as soon as we walked to our first spot, hurricane Mitch decided to roll in. It sucked so bad, every ones hair was blowing everywhere and the kids looked freezing. Jet refused to smile in any of the pictures he just looked stone cold at the camera every time. Literally 1 hour prior to we were laying out with no wind chill at all. So we decided to go to her studio aka garage and try and get some better shots.... as soon as we walked in Jet finds a Spiderman bat and ball and would have nothing to do with listening. It was AWESOME! So Wendy told us we could have another session on a better day. Since both kids had a hard time looking natural in front of the camera we decided to take the kids to Old Town (the location we had our pictures at) and try and get them used to it before our next session. Most of them turned out crappy because Jet is a beast and wouldn't do anything we told him to or would never look at the camera. Jaida was a doll and would do anything I asked because I bribed her with a Mcdonald's Happy Meal (which we never eat... but Jaida always wants) So this isn't any Blue Lily but possibly Yellow Lily which is what I would call my photography business if I had one... I would just copy all of Blue Lily's locations and poses since I have no creative ability. They turned out great. Jaida is cute as ever and Jet I swear has grown into a little boy since we saw him last. I really miss all ya crazies. I'm so glad you guys are coming for a visit. I think I'll try to sabatage your rental somehow so that you have to stay even longer to fix whatever I do to it. hmmm... you'd be happy to know that Bob has been out and about again lately scaring people. Even myself because no matter how many times i've seen him, if he's in an unusual place I jump everytime i see him. stupid bob. well, again.. your family is so cute and you are so dang hot. stop being so purdy.
