The crazy life we live

So we have had a crazy last few months which flewn by. I can't believe it is almost June, soon we will be basking in the sun in beautiful Montana, I can't wait. As for the past few months, we had a quick visit to Arizona to visit friends and check on our rental. We stayed at a hotel in Scottsdale for 2 days and then we stayed with some of our favorite people the Bridges for 2 more days. Oh man we had tons of fun swimming, laying out, eating and visiting with friends (some for not nearly long enough... ie the Fryers) We decided that a year is way to long to wait for our next visit. Feast your eyes on some excellent pictures from our trip.

We also moved into our rental.... Wish I could say we were able to buy but that didn't end up working out... stupid economy.... So we settled for the next best thing, a really cute house in a community called Harveston. It is super close to Mike's work and only a 10 minute drive to my mum's. We love it and may be able to buy it after our year is up... if we can get a loan at that point.

Another note worthy event was last Wednesday little Jetty had to go to the hospital. After his nap that day I changed a poopy diaper and he had some blood and a nubby of tissue in his diaper which i thought couldn't possibly be tissue, even though that is exactly what is looked like so Iguessed it to be a big worm..... or something. I took him to the Doctor and his words were "Oh God... that is tissue... he sluffed part of his colon" in the most "your son looks like he is not going to make it" voice you could imagine, he thought Jet's colon had intussuscepted. He called the GI specialist who said it was probably o.k but we should have him admitted to the hospital over night. To make a long story short, the poor boy had his blood drawn, poop examined and tested, a few xrays and an IV attemted 6 times. It sucked because he didn't act or seem sick at all he just wanted to run and play. That night Jet and I shared a chair that reclined to a bed, he would have nothing to do with the hospital crib since that is where they tried to place his IVs . The next day they told us he needed to be transferred to L.A by ambulance to be looked at by the GI specialist, I really just wanted to drive him but they wouldn't let me. Jet was so excited to ride in the ambulance but I was soooo car sick, I may or may not have thrown up... A few hours later Mike met us at the hospital and the specialist came in. We had taken a picture of the poopy diaper which he looked at and immediatly diagnosed as a polyp and told us we could go home (best news I heard all day, at this point I was soooooo tired) So 4 hours and $2000 dollars later we left. Awesome. I took some pictures of Jet assuming ( and hoping) this would be his only time he would be a patient in a hospital. One thing I did learn was I am soooooo thankful for my kids health, I never really thought about it before but being in the Pediatric unit of the hospital would break anyones' heart.

Now you are officially caught up, until this weekend when my brother Dannel is getting married, so get excited and enjoy my pictures.

Holy crap. I saw the pictures of Jet in the hospital before I read the story and I was so scared. I'm glad he's okay. Scary stuff.

Oh my gosh! So freaky! I would be a little mad at that first doctor who thought it was so serious when the second one dismissed it immediately. Oh well, better to be safe. I'm so glad that he is ok!! I'm sorry you had to go through that! And, bummed that you didn't get to buy a house. :( Glad you're in a cute place anyhow. How's Mike's job? Love you!

so, remember that time when jaida was holding all the chips, and she tripped and fell, then started crying and when you asked what happened, she said, "luke did it" and i wasn't even there???

then remember the time Mike said you all were coming for thanksgiving to Oregon (yippeee, hooray) and we got all excited and brought out the good china plates, then mike said, "oh, the flights only go to medford...sorry:)"

what do those two stories have in common?

LIES, THOSE EGGS WERE ALL LIES...
