One of our favorite past times living in sunny California is going to the beach. Often times Ziggy likes to come with us, so when he is lucky (which just happens to be not that often) we make the 45 minute drive into San Diego to go to the dog beach. The kids love playing in the tide pools, rocks and petting all of the dogs and Ziggy loves running/swimming in the ocean and chasing other dogs. Here are some pictures of our last trip to the dog beach which may or may not have been in January... I have been a bit of a slacker on the blogging front.

great photos! I can't wait to visit the dog beach in SD. It'll be my mission this summer. It's definitely on of the great perks of living in So Cal.
