Well... May has not been as productive on the adoption front as I had hoped. There were no referrals for 3 long weeks and we just barely had 2 referrals go out at the beginning of this week (none of which were baby girls 0-12 months... just wondering which agency is stealing all the baby girl referrals...) The wait is unbearable for me, it is really hard when there is no progression for such a long time, I get frustrated. I know there are certain things that need to be done in order for the adoption to be legal but does it really have to take this long, especially when there are so many orphans in Ethiopia. I know with the 2 trip policy that things will slow down a bit until they fully figure it out and work out the kinks and that has recently, officially gone into effect but... I'm ready... Not sure how the next 6 months of waiting will go... My guess is not so great. Hurry up baby, get in my arms.
Any how.... I am done my rant, J emailed us today (actually she phoned and left a message to confirm we wanted to be taken off the boy list... But when I heard her voice and knew this was an email month and not a phone month, my heart skipped a beat. I thought maybe we were getting a referral and that for some reason the requirements of the many families ahead of us didn't match up to the referral so we were next in line... Not the case. It was just a confirmation we wanted off the boy list. boo)Sooooo, we are officially number 30 (and unofficially number 28 since the 2 referrals went out this week) Come on referrals keep coming.

Oh Chantel!!! I just read your "It's A Girl" post and totally cried- it just hit me how Heavenly Father works and how neat it is that you knew what you were having when you got pregnant! I knew with Nixon too and I know what you're saying it was so weird, but as soon as I found out I was pregnant I just new! Also, glad you got a lot of the paper work done and good luck with what's to come and going to Ethiopia twice!!! All will work out, you'll be in our prayers:) we sure miss you guys! Congratulations again- love ya
