Elephants Everywhere!

As I said in my last post, while I was in Montana I got the sewing bug. I found some cute elephant fabric for baby b's blanket then visions of elephants danced through my head so I sewed some of the extras onto anything I could find. My mum helped me with the babies blanket and since it rained a few days we were able to finish. With some of the scraps I made a little tag blanket... not sure how I feel about the ribbon on the edges but all the pictures i saw of tag blankets had them. If I did it again I would just put one loop of ribbon on for baby to carry the tag blanket with... (will it still be a tag blanket then? ) Jgirl really wanted to get in on the sewing action so she decided to make a tag blanket for the baby too. She cut the ribbon into tiny pieces and put it together to make a shape of our baby then added longer pieces to the outside. It was a bugger to sew all those little pieces but Jgirl loved it and i think it turned out so cute. I am sure it will be babies favorite.
