So I no longer feel abandoned... Our case worker phoned me on Monday and I was able to get a bunch of questions answered... She is so sweet and I know this adoption will all happen in the Lord's time and it will be timed so we get the child that was meant for us... I'm just not very good at being patient....
Our homestudy draft was sent over to AGCI on Monday for review and they have 5 days to review it so I was feeling kinda bummed because that meant Friday was for sure out for our numbers. Today however, I received an unexpected call from Nicole at our homestudy agency saying they had received our edited homestudy and just had to change a few things then send it back for final, final review. This is going to be a very excellent homestudy. Nicole said she would send it back with the final changes and if she got it back tomorrow she would send the notarized final copy to me. I told her not to send it but to call me so I could go pick it up... a 50 minute drive is nothin if we can get a number a week earlier. (assuming there is nothing that needs to be re-done on our dossier... If so we can find that out a week earlier too)Member the part where I am not very patient... If every one is speedy we can get our homestudy tomorrow and overnight our dossier to AGCI for Friday review. Please be speedy... please be speedy.

yeaaa! I will try and hold number 34 for you on the boys list ;)
woohoo! praying for lightening speed!!!
I'm glad you got to see a little progress. I can only imagine how frustrating it is to be waiting for all this stuff to fall into place.
I hope it all works out for you! BUT if it makes you feel any better - it might not change your spot in line even if you don't get it turned in this week. Since dossier's are reviewed in the order they come in if you are the last one this week or first one next week it won't make a difference on your number - but knowing a week earlier WOULD be nice :)
I hope you get your number this week :)
