The wait is killin me

I can't wait to get our referral number and I don't know how much longer I can wait. Our home study agency is taking FOREVER to send us the rough draft of our home study. Originally our social worker said she had 2 weeks to write it up but it wouldn't take her that long, 2 weeks was last Thursday. I was secretly hoping we would have our number by this Friday since it is my birthday, I knew it wasn't likely but thought slightly possible. So I emailed our home study agency on Monday asking her if she thought it was possible we could have it all revised and sent to AGCI by Friday (AGCI reviews all of their dossiers on Fridays, so that is when the numbers go out).... She didn't say no but implied it by telling me that she had the rough draft and had to read and edit it, then send it to me so I could look it over and make any needed changes then they would send it to AGCI for review ( I am assuming all of this is via email) and that this would take a few days. So after obsessively checking my email for 3 days (that's a few... right?) I broke down and emailed our home study agency again. She said pretty much the same thing so I am sure it hasn't even been looked at yet. Looks like this Friday will not be the lucky day.... cross your fingers for next Friday, as long as our dossier is complete, we may get a number.... If not next Friday then the Friday after that... or the Friday after that.... Or the one after that...
