September long weekend

Well look at me, I am quite the blogger, slowly catching up. Foe the September long weekend we found some dirt cheap plane tickets to Montana (as in $19.99 each way from Vegas whoot whoot) So I took the kids out of school the week before to extend our vacation, then M and my brother C came just for the weekend. My other brother T also came up from Calgary to meet us. It was so nice to go back although both the air and water were a lot colder but we didn't let that stop us. The kids and I went for walks, watched movies, swam and played in the tree house. I love how life just slows down out there, it is such a refreshing break. Of course Jet would wake my mum up first so I got to do a lot of sleeping in. The kids got their Grammie fill to hold them over until they come back to Cali for the winter. When M and C came there was non stop games and mini competitions. The day before we left Jgirl woke up with a bump on her forehead, it started to swell pretty good then the next day the swelling dropped to between her eyes. SOme kind of bug bite we assumed. She looked like Avatar people. We kept calling her Avatar and she would get mad but I kept catching her checking her face out in the mirror and she told me she thought she looked better that way... Silly girl. The best part was she had pictures the day we got back... So much to Jgirls dismay we did retakes. We all had so much fun and feel blessed to have such a beautiful place to visit.
Since it rained a few days I did a little bit of sewing. I found this super cute elephant fabric and decided to put elephants on EVERYTHING. I originally bought it for baby B's blanket (which my mum helped me make, it turned out sooooo cute) but had extra so made some cute onsies and shirts. Check them out in my next post.
